Yes, we ship within South Africa and internationally. Please specify your delivery address when making an inquiry so we can quote you accordingly.

Shipping Details:

  • Shipping to countries outside of South Africa will be handled by a local company we use, which specializes in the crates and packaging needed for the sending of heavy yet fragile ceramic items. A quote for shipping will be added to your inquiry.
  • Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email and tracking details.
  • We do not ship to PO boxes.
  • We use Postnet or The Courier Guy for local orders.
  • DHL International is used for international orders.
  • Shipping is for the buyer’s account. The order will be insured.
  • In the unlikely event of finding any item in your order to be cracked or broken, please immediately send pictures to info@jendecharmoy.co.za. Your item will be replaced. You may be required to repay duties/taxes on a replacement item.

For local orders, payment must be made via EFT / direct bank transfer.

International payments can be made using a credit or debit card via Yoco, which is a trusted South African online payment gateway.

Important terms and conditions for custom / commission orders

Thank you for buying my artwork. The piece(s) you have chosen is custom, just for you.

In starting a commission from scratch, please note the following:

  • I require four weeks for the making and drying process. This will vary slightly if only one piece is ordered.
  • I require a week for glazing and firing, and a week for packaging and shipping. This is a 6-week lead time.
  • If you request a customized glaze or finish, a test tile will take a further 2 weeks to process.
  • Glaze, clay and the firing process are chemistry and there will be variations from one piece to the next, even within the same choice of form, clay, and finish.
  • If pieces break within the process, you will be notified, and the lead time may need readjustment to accommodate a remake.
  • Custom orders require a deposit of 50% on commencement of order and the balance on completion and before shipping or delivery.
  • All orders placed are for final sale and are not exchangeable.
